Our Team

Teresa Naser, Licensed Veterinary Technician

Teresa graduated from NDSU with a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology in 2000.  She is currently an active member of the North Dakota Veterinary Technician Association, of which she has recently served as president.  Teresa has been with Sheridan Animal Hospital since 2001.  Teresa enjoys working on the large variety of cases that occur in a rural practice.  She especially enjoys surgery and work on the horse patients.  Teresa is a technician that would be hard to replace.  She is a very hard worker and is always a foot ahead of the veterinarians.  The efficiency she brings to our clinic is unprecedented.  Teresa and her husband, Trent, live in the country with their two daughters, Alexandra and Kaleigh.  Her family has 5 horses, a dog-Shungka, and a hairless cat-Peaches.  In her free time, Teresa enjoys riding horses, camping with her extended family, reading, digital scrap booking, and attending the kids' 4H, school and sporting events.

Jayme Walsh, Licensed Veterinary Technician

Jayme Walsh is a Harvey native who grew up on a small family farm/ranch outside of Harvey and attended NDSU, earning her B.S. in Veterinary Technology with minors in Animal Science, Agribusiness and Large Animal Veterinary Technology in 2010.  She joined the Sheridan Animal Hospital team in September 2012 when the Harvey location was opened. Jayme enjoys the mixture of small and large animal work at the clinic.  Jayme shows great compassion for the patients as well as the clients.  She is a very thorough technician, making sure no patient leaves without the best care. Jayme is a member of the NDVTA. She and her husband, Aaron, have two amazing little boys, Jeremiah and Jonathon, who keep them very busy! They enjoy raising cattle and working on the farm alongside family when not at their day jobs. Jayme also likes reading, scrapbooking, spending time outdoors, and hanging out with friends and family.  They have  two horses, a diabetic cat named Oscar (Aaron doesn’t always claim him) and a black lab named Hunter, who occasionally serves as a blood donor at the clinic.

Patti Dusek, Office Manager

Patti Dusek was born and raised in rural McHenry County.  Along with spending time with her husband, LJ, Patti enjoys spending time with their daughter, Elsie, and with friends.  She enjoys hunting, fishing, gardening, canning, and spending endless amounts of snuggle time with their 4 four babies((Roxie, Pixie< Clementine, and Violet).  Patti is quick to offer a supporting hand to family, friends, and her community.  Her dedication to the community comes out daily, as she shows such kindness and empathy to the clients.  Patti is very organized and driven.  She has been an important part of the success of the clinics progress.

Kady Rath, Licensed Veterinary Technician

Kady grew up in McClusky, where she developed a love for animals by helping her grandpa work cattle, riding horse, and growing up with a few dogs.  She graduated from NDSU in the fall of 2017 with a B.S. in Veterinary Technology and minors in Animal Science and Large Animal Veterinary Technologies.  She loves working with both small and large animals, and having ever changing days at the vet clinic!  On her free time, Kady likes to help her family work cattle, ride her horse Rio, watch rodeos, attend country music concerts, hunt and trap shoot with her family, and hang out with her friends.

Casey Thomas, Licensed Veterinary Technician ​

Casey grew up on a farm and ranch south of Velva where her love of caring for animals appeared at an early age. She knew her whole life that she wanted to be in the veterinary profession. Along with farming and ranching, Casey also developed a passion for anything involving the outdoors specifically hunting, which was taught to her by her family and closest friends. Her dream was always to get a degree in the veterinary profession and then return to her roots of the farm/ranch. Casey graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology from NDSU in 2020.  She now resides back home, where she can enjoy her love of the outdoors, while continuing her dream career.

Savanna Lauinger, Receptionist and Vet Assistant

Savanna is a ND native who grew up in Harvey, ND. She now resides on a ranch outside of Esmond with her husband, Dylan, and dog, Ava.  Savanna enjoys being outside and spending time with all of her animals.  She has recently found a new love of horse back riding.  She also enjoys spending time with her friends and family.  Savanna brings a great attitude to our team at Sheridan Animal Hospital and serves as a great resource to our customers.

Alicia Ranum, Licensed Veterinary Technician

Alicia was born and raised in Harvey ND. She has 2 brothers, 1 older and 1 younger. Alicia went to Tech School at the Minnesota School of Business getting my AAS in Veterinary Technology. She was enrolled in the Navy for 6 years after Tech School. Joining Sheridan Animal Hospital has allowed Alicia to finally do what she has always wanted to do, work with animals! She has loved animals since she was a little girl. Alicia has two Rough Collies(Vala and Odo), as well as two cats (Smoke and Cosmos). She loves reading, listening to audiobooks and doing puzzles in her free time.
